This date has an elected officials meeting and discussion over further cuts to the General Fund Budget at file 6 & 7. A proposal for voluntary cuts in work hours to 32 hours a week.
The Soil and Water Board of Supervisors notified of drastic cuts in Files 9 & 10. There is a follow up meeting with the Soil and Water Board of Supervisors on May 18, files 6 – 8.
Pat Holmes of the OSU Extension notified of cuts and fear of closing the office from file 13 – 16. Fred Vogue questions the Commissioners on cuts in file 14 – 16. Those interested on follow up to the OSU Extension should also check out file 5 from the May 20 meeting. File 5 has Dr. Wright from the OSU Extension Service participating in a conference call with the three Preble County Commissioners. There is also a scheduled meeting with Dr. Wright & OSU Extension on June 1.
