36 Minute mark Commissioner Stonecash – Attended Mayor's meeting. West Manchester, Eldorado, Lewisburg and Eaton attended.
36.5 Minute mark Mayor of West Manchester brought up Pilot's traffic problems. Commissioner Stonecash – Hazelwood Drive is a county road. True, but it in no way does Hazelwood Drive look like the access point to an area that would require millions of dollars such as Goose Creek will. What the County Commissioners are not saying is that the land they over paid for is not on St. Rt. 127 as their website indicates. The 30.29 acres of ground that they over paid for is west of the Pilot and the Motel at Exit 10. The main access road is to be Hazelwood Drive as stated on December 14, 2009 during the interview process for a design firm. The secondary access point will be Orphans Rd. Citizens of Preble County should take a look at Hazelwood Drive, it is the road that looks like a drive way between the Pilot Truck Stop and the Motel and ask yourselves; Does this look like the access point to what Preble County Commissioners refer to as a future "gold mine"? Or does it look like an excuse to pave over prime farm land and put 10's of millions of your tax dollars at risk?
