October 1, cash fund balance $1,838,143,63
October 16, balance $1,617,934.48
Expected November transfer to "Dog & Kennel". Mindy had hoped they would not have to do that this year. Auditor's office had furnished names of people that had bought licenses the previous year but not this year so that the Dog Warden could go out and "see what the circumstances might have been". Commissioner Wesler mentioned the need "requirement" to get the Humane Society to make sure that all dogs adopted out are licensed as a way of offsetting the cost of the Dog & Kennel expense. $14 for one dog and $70 for a kennel license (over five dogs) Humane Society would get .75 per adoption.
