This meeting is notable for the 4% pay raise granted by the commission with some restrictions. Some county employees had not received a raise since 2011.
The one issue that I feel could use further explanation is the granting of a used patrol vehicle to the Village of Gratis. This would be the third vehicle since 2011 if the report on the audio is accurate and that sounds like too many vehicles for one small village without the commission knowing what happened to the other two.
