QUILT RAFFLE FUNDRAISER

We have a talented group of ladies who sew and quilt at the Preble County Senior Center. The group is called “Silver Threads and Golden Needles.” They use their talent and creativity to make and donate beautiful quilts to the Preble County Senior Center on a regular basis. This enables the Senior Center to sell raffle tickets as a fundraiser. It also gives you an opportunity to win one of these lovely homemade quilts. Our new raffle is a full-size quilt in a “Dresden Plate” design. The quilt was hand pieced and machine quilted. This quilt has been a special project for the group for many months. The quilt was completed in June 2014 by Joann Bundy, Helen Finn, Mary Ann Guntle, Margaret Hartman, and Betty Schlenk.

The quilt is on display daily at the Preble County Senior Center, 800 East St. Clair Street, Eaton, Ohio. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Tickets are available for purchase from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday at the Senior Center and from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursdays at the weekly dance at The Gathering Place, 501 Nation Avenue, Eaton. The Drawing date is Tuesday, August 5, 2014. You do not need to be present to win. Thank you for your support.
