42.4 Minute mark    Connie – The next item I passed out… zoning resolution to the planning commission… wind turbine resolution approved in 2010 was not in document?  discussion on meeting regulations and need to have the updated approved. What should have been done by May now could take until July.  The wind turbine resolution had been approved by all three boards but was not in the included in the final document. Had the meeting resolutions been approved emergency or a special meetings could have been called.

Connie got back correspondence from the Ohio Development Services Agency aka the Ohio Department of Development. Preble County is getting $104,000 for this year's CDBG. Last year it was $120,000. Used to be close to $200,000.

52.75 Minute mark   Department of Forestry official scheduled to look over the county timber to see about the emerald ash borer on April 30 at 9:00 a.m.  Connie received a phone call from Mark Goeke.

Connie – We did receive our cost for insurance this year. Totally it is $188,000 (liability, building, auto.. not health) which is an increase of about $40,000. Engineer can use his own funds for paying his departments insurance. Last year the county picked up the tab but previously had paid it. Legal language refers to "may pay" not "shall pay" for insurance.
