Connie – We need to note receipt of a letter from Mindy Robbins regarding employment of Lavon Wright. She will begin full time effective September 1 at a rate of $13 per hour. To be paid out of the REA fund.

8.75 Minute mark   Information from Sheriff from last week…. conformation of expense figures.  Mention of an email from Connie to the Sheriff noting a project total cost of $578,502.36 (radios and consoles).  Connie notes an email of October 9 from Sheriff that mentioned an expense of $327,000 for the three consoles.  Listen to the audio.   

14.5 Minute mark    Deadline of November 21 on consoles and December 15 for radios.

Discussion on topic and number of radios.   

Connie – 13 full time deputies and that includes the Sheriff.

21.75   Minute mark    Mention of use of 911 fund for console upgrade as a nextgen upgrade (911 funds are not being used). Possibility of advancing funds from General Fund and then using 911 funds to reimburse.  911 funds cannot be used for the radios.

This contract has reached our office and as you can see there are certain things on the contract review form that have not been abided by.
