Connie – We did get a letter prepared by Randy Gilbert regarding the newspaper trailer at the landfill. Connie asks Commissioners if they would like to read Randy's letter – he has not sent it yet.

David – asks how often Thomas picks the trailer up.

Connie – Two times a year.

Chris – Connie & I had been down there (Monday) and has concern about a private owner bringing equipment down to the landfill. Concern over insurance.

Connie – David I think you mentioned maybe something maybe last week about electric aggregation. Discussion on issue. Bill Braddish to get back to Connie next week. Jackson Township has lower rate than first three townships.

Discussion on rate the county is getting had come up in a couple presentations and the view was the county should be getting a better rate locally. See July 30, 2014 meeting post (File 2 & File 4).

There was apparently supposed to be an Economic Development Update but it was cancelled.  Connie spoke with Jim Simon and it was cancelled.

Matt says that Chris and him (Matt) could probably give you a better update.

Chris Day feels they should wait for the committee and not speak out of turn.

Dave Wesler asks about the Golf Outing – August 29. "Rob's" is catering it afterward.

Rotary's cut from the Fair was around $9,000. Rodney talked to "Fair" Friday and they were down about 400.

Connie gives update on how much our grant writer (Kim Keller) had gotten for the county. Camden project funded. Harrison Township project denied, frees up like $42,000.

West Manchester pump station emergency generator pump was that back-up project but only asked for $20,000. Discussion on issue – listen to the audio. Allocation grant needs to be resubmitted with what the county now wants to do.
