New classes for children were introduced this winter, and their story continues into the spring, beginning March 11.  Students can explore new materials in the Young Artist Studio, find new ways of learning through the arts in the Little Hands class or even create their own Claymation movie.  Students can also help bring in spring during Saturday workshops.  In the Flowerpot workshop students will take home a handmade pot.  The Junk-Start Summer Reading workshop, in cooperation with the Preble County Library, is a friendly competition to turn trash into treasure.

Adults also have plenty of opportunity to add to the creativity.  Art Explorations returns as Joyce Young continues to guide students through a project of their own making in the medium of their choosing.    Oil and Acrylic Painting in the evening with Sara Fleenor returns as well, or students can chose to join her new Day Painters class.  Expand your horizons to a new medium by exploring Watercolor Painting with Howard Krauss or Colored Pencils with Erin Abney.  And the wildly popular Unwind and Create returns with a brand new project for a relaxing Friday evening of creativity, food and fun.

The Arts Center is also a great place to host a birthday party, bridal shower or business meeting.   Want your event to have an art theme to go with the art on the walls?   The Arts Center will be happy to provide an activity just for you.
