Wondering how to keep the kids busy this summer?  How about an Art Camp or two!  The Visual Arts Center of Preble County is now offering week-long camps throughout the month of June for your creative kids.  We even have a pre-K camp!

For children ages kindergarten through 6th grade, half and full day camps are available, with a different theme each week.  Kids can make sculptures and collages out of paper, learn the basics of photography, create a stop-motion animated video, and of course paint!  

And what better way for pre-K children to learn their ABC's and 123's than by creating them in paint and clay?  The first camp, June 2-6 from 9am to 12pm, is for the youngest artists.

Ages kindergarten through 6th grade can participate in half day sessions from 9am -12pm or 1pm -4pm or they can stay the whole day for both sessions.  During the week of June 9-13, World of Paper will be offered in the morning and Playing with Clay in the afternoon.  The following week, June 16-20, The Four "P's" (painting, photography, printmaking and pottery) will be in the morning and Animation Station in the afternoon.  The last week, June 23-27, Playing with Clay will again be offered in the morning and Art for All of Us, during which the students will paint a public mural, with be in the afternoon.

The pre-K and half day camps are $95 for non-members, $75 for members and the full day camps are $190 for non-members, $150 for members.  Discounts are available for multi-week sign ups and for siblings.   Preregistration is required.  Spaces are limited and will fill up fast, so be sure to register soon!
