The Annual Juried Art Show at the Visual Arts Center of Preble County opens on Thursday, May 15. The exhibit will be on display from May 15th to June 27th.  The reception for the exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will be on Thursday, May 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. During the reception, the Art Center will also be hosting Business After Hours, an open house event through the Preble County Chamber of Commerce.   The event will feature artist demos and hands-on art activities as well as information on classes and summer art camps.

Awards will be given in both professional and amateur categories, including $150 Best of Show for professionals and $100 Promising Artist for amateurs. This year's juror, Greg Clem, Assistant Professor of Art at Edison Community College in Piqua, Ohio stated about the show, “It was fantastic to see such support for the Visual Art Center and I very much enjoyed seeing all of the diverse talent from Preble County and surrounding areas on display.
